WHY I CREATED SURVEY REBEL
Six years ago, I produced my first business event with just a few attendees. Fast forward to now, I've had more than 11,000 people attend my events and I've helped other events, both smaller and larger than mine, get even bigger through one huge discovery...surveys. 
It all started the night after my first event. To ensure that people would come to future events, I emailed them surveys requesting feedback. Then I would use their comments to adjust how I ran the events. Slowly but surely, my events started to grow, but at a snail's pace. Thinking of how I could grow them faster, I recalled an interesting conversation I had with a woman from my last event.

She was a behavioral psychologist who studied how people think and how to influence their actions. With her help, I created new surveys. The survey data was used to transform my marketing and management strategies. As a result, my events grew fast...I mean really fast. And soon, other event creators in Los Angeles started to ask me to share my secret.
Realizing how powerful my surveys were, I co-created a software startup called Osurv which invented the mobile survey. More than just events, our surveys helped mega-brands like Caesars Entertainment, Coachella, and Casio increase their revenues by predicting customer behavior. Marketing executives were paying us tens of thousands of dollars for our surveys.
Osurv was acquired in 2017. For my next business, I knew I wanted to get back to my roots and help smaller events get huge. So, I took my surveys that events like the Tribeca Film Festival, Dreamforce, and the Consumer Electronics Show used and transformed them into affordable and easy-to-use survey templates.

CONFERENCES & TRADE SHOWS
GSMA's Mobile World Congress was the largest mobile conference outside of North America. "After using SurveyRebel, we became the largest mobile conference in the world ."
They used to spend $50,000 a year on surveys that didn't help them grow their events. That's when a colleague recommended that they give SurveyRebel a try.
From day one, Heather noticed that their survey was very different than what they used in the past. After sending it out following after their 2016 event in Barcelona, they literally got truck loads of feedback.
"Based on their data, we implemented a new partnership and started advertising a new event for North America." said Heather.
Later this September, they're hosting 'Mobile World Congress Americas' conference in San Francisco. 
Ticket sales are up over 20% since they started using SurveyRebel and with ticket sales already hitting 30,000- they have now become the largest mobile conference in the world.
"Never would we have thought that a survey could make such a huge difference in our growth." But, they were happily surprised and are looking forward to this year's survey results.
NETWORKING EVENTS
Schmoozd is the longest running and most widely attended networking mixer in Los Angeles. 
The event regularly brings out hundreds of entrepreneurs, techies and investors and has been attended by over 50,000 people.
But there was a time when the event had a difficult time attracting large crowds. That's when they started emailing SurveyRebel surveys to their attendees after every event.
SurveyRebel quickly found that the Schmoozd audience attended lots of other events besides theirs and had no loyalty to one event over another.
Further, it was discovered that attendees preferred going to fewer larger events than more smaller events. And that they would pay more to attend those events.
Based this and other data, SurveyRebel recommended that Schmoozd change from a monthly to a quarterly event.
Today, Schmoozed hosts 4 events per year, each averaging 500 attendees.

MEMBERSHIP EVENTS
American Marketing Association (AMA) is the largest marketing organization in the nation with over 30,000 members. It hosts monthly events for networking, volunteering, and learning the newest marketing strategies and tactics.
But even with all that glory, the Los Angeles chapter struggled to get a consistent flow of attendees to their monthly social mixers and educational events. They only got about 40 people at each event. 
That's when Philip Rebentisch, their President, decided to start running surveys at events. So, he signed up for a SurveyMonkey account and used their event survey templates.
Though he hoped to get great feedback with them...it failed. Few people took the survey and fewer insights were learned.  Philip was upset thinking that there was no solution to help better his event turnout.
That's when Philip heard about SurveyRebel...and the rest is history!
He was happily surprised when after running his first event survey, it produced incredible results. It told him exactly why his events were failing and what he needed to do to turn them around.
His next AMA event got over 160 attendees...a 400% increase over previous events. And his events still continue to grow.
